Frequently asked questions
Do you work directly with corporate clients, or only through architects?
Both. FormForge takes briefs directly from corporate clients, property teams, and facilities heads, and also works as a specialist fabricator within architect-led commissions. For corporate-direct briefs, we handle concept development through installation; for architect-led projects, we coordinate within the existing design process.
Can you develop sculpture from a company's brand guidelines and design language?
Yes. Brand-integrated sculpture is one of our most common corporate briefs — developing a piece that resonates with the brand's identity without being illustrative of it. We have worked with corporate design teams and brand agencies to develop sculpture from brand guidelines, material palettes, and architectural intent.
How do you handle corporate stakeholder review and approval processes?
We prepare presentation-ready documentation at each approval stage — concept renders, material samples, scale references, and engineering summaries. Corporate commissions often involve multiple sign-off rounds with leadership, real estate, and brand teams, and we have experience sequencing this without delaying the fabrication programme.
What materials work best for high-traffic corporate environments?
Stainless steel — particularly brushed or bead-blast finishes — performs well in high-traffic environments: durable, cleanable, and not easily marked. For outdoor plaza sculpture, 316 stainless or corten steel are the appropriate choices. Interior brass or copper pieces are appropriate where the traffic level is managed.
Can sculpture be installed in operating offices with minimal disruption?
Yes. We plan installation logistics as part of the commission — access, hoisting, working hours, and sequencing are agreed in advance with the facilities or project manager. We have installed in occupied office buildings, coordinating around business hours and security requirements.
Do you provide concept development, scale models, and presentation material?
Yes. Concept development is included in the commission — 3D renders, scale models where appropriate, and presentation material for leadership review. We can prepare material in formats suitable for board presentations or design committee sign-off.
What is the budget range for corporate sculpture commissions?

Can I buy a corporate sculpture directly, or is everything commissioned?
Some smaller works are available as direct purchases through our shop. Most of the studio's output is bespoke — commissioned to a brief, a site, and a scale that can't be stocked. Visit our shop for available works, or start a conversation to commission a piece.
