FormForge designs and fabricates architectural metal sculpture and bespoke metalwork for buildings — pieces that integrate with architecture rather than sit alongside it. The practice covers façade sculpture, parametric screens, sculptural railings, architectural entry features, and large-scale integrated metalwork for hotels, commercial buildings, and luxury residences.
Each commission is developed in coordination with the project architect — drawings reviewed against architectural intent, structural loads engineered against the building, finishes chosen to weather alongside the façade. The studio works across stainless steel, corten, brass, copper, and parametric systems, delivering integrated architectural art across 600 installations.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between architectural metal sculpture and decorative metalwork?
Architectural metal sculpture is designed in direct response to a specific building — its proportions, materials, and structural logic. Decorative metalwork is typically a finish element applied independently of architectural intent. FormForge works in the former: commissions developed from architectural drawings, not from a catalogue.
Do you work directly with architects on integrated commissions?
Yes. Most architectural metalwork commissions begin with the project architect sharing drawings and intent. We review against architectural intent, develop the sculpture or metalwork in that context, and coordinate back into the design process rather than treating the commission as a separate layer.
Can you fabricate parametric façade panels and perforated metal screens?
Yes. Parametric façade panels and perforated metal screens are a core part of our practice — developed using computational design tools and fabricated to CNC precision. We have delivered these across stainless steel, corten, and aluminium for both interior and exterior applications.
Do you handle the structural engineering for façade-mounted sculpture?
Yes. Façade-mounted sculpture requires engineering for wind loads, thermal movement, and anchoring into the building structure. We develop structural details in coordination with the building structural engineer, and produce installation drawings for the façade contractor.
What materials are best for architectural metalwork in Indian climate?
For exterior applications in India, 316 stainless steel offers the highest corrosion resistance across humid and coastal climates. Corten steel is appropriate where patina development is part of the brief. Powder-coated or anodised aluminium works well for large parametric screens where weight is a constraint.
How early in the architectural project should we engage FormForge?
As early as possible — ideally at concept or schematic design stage. Architectural metalwork integrated at this stage can be designed into the building rather than fitted around it, which produces better outcomes structurally, visually, and in terms of budget control.
What is the price range for architectural metalwork?

Can I buy architectural metalwork directly, or is everything commissioned?
Some smaller works are available as direct purchases through our shop. Most of the studio's output is bespoke — commissioned to a brief, a site, and a scale that can't be stocked. Visit our shop for available works, or start a conversation to commission a piece.
